If you think you have that raw talent, love storytelling, you can push yourself beyond the ordinary, you daydream about a better cinema, but don’t know how to go about, then FFVA is that platform where you can do it all. We help you accelerate your journey into films.

Directing your film with a proper crew, writing and re-writing more stories, building characters, auditions with the actors, working closely with your cinematographer, location scouting and so much more…that’s how the industry works and that’s what you practice at FFVA.

The 6 months course trains students in script writing, direction, cinematography and editing, while specializing in film direction.

The specialization allows the student to be the writer and director for a short film project, while the cinematography specialization students handle the camera.

Month 1

Creative thinking + Storytelling

Content rules. Brainstorming, ideation, characterizations are practiced rigorously so as to make you a creative professional and not only a technician.

Month 2


Intensive sessions are conducted for script writing. You will practice the art of writing, forming interesting situations, dialogue conversations and the BME of scenes. The beginning will be writing for a TVC. Parallel intense editing sessions will help you with better visualization. You will make your first TV commercial project as a team.

Month 3


Once the content is ready, next follows formatting. Short film scripts, Spec scripts  & various script genres will be discussed. World’s best movie screenings will expand your thinking horizon. Direction students would learn about the 3P’s involved in filmmaking in a more intense manner.

Month 4


The faculty makes the students immerse in lots of screenplay writing for different genres. Students will have their different scripts ready to be pitched in the film industry. Along with writing & direction, knowledge in cinematography helps them visualize the idea in a more practical and efficient manner.

Month 5


Auditions, Art work, Costume departments … all have to be supervised well by the director. You shoot your short film project as a writer & a director. The faculty guides you through the entire process.

Month 6

Completion & placements opportunities

Post-production of the project gets completed and preparations start for your placements in the industry. The FFVA placement cell works towards placing you as an assistant director/ creative head in the Film/ TV or ad film industry.


The FFVA faculty comprises of chief technicians currently working in Indian film industry. Hence, the students are updated with
the latest industry events and technology and happenings.


A Writer, Director and Film Producer, Keerthi has been a part of the film industry for over a decade. He started his career as editor and was associated with many big brands in the advertising world. Later he worked in ads, corporate films & got associated with Indian and International brands such as Philips, Deutsche Bank, Norwich. After the movies “Oru Modhal Oru Kadhal” as Writer & Director, “Pedavi Datani Matokatundhi” as Writer & Producer, he is lined up with more films in telugu and tamil. Also the Founder of FFVA, Keerthi guides students through the entire process of filmmaking and gives an expert insight to the different crafts of cinema. With the experience of Do’s and Dont’s in the industry, he gives amazing career guidance to the students and makes sure they are focussed and disciplined, ready to kickstart their journey into the entertainment industry.

Film Director & Producer

Aditi is the producer of telugu movie “Pedavi Datani Matokatundhi” which released in July 2018. She produces films under the banner Film Monks Entertainment. Also the founder of FFVA, she gives excellent insight to the business side of filmmaking and how the industry works. With a strong network in the film industry, her vision to create and produce more films makes her the best person to guide students into the field. Started off as a journalist, she was an integral part of content creation for various ads and feature films. She guides students starting from the process of content creation till the release. Aditi is an asset to FFVA and it makes our academy standout, being run by a film producer

Founder & Film Producer

Partib has been very closely associated with the Bollywood world for over 6 years. He worked as an associate director for Anand L Rai who directed ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, which was a blockbuster hit, along with few more. When he’s not filming in Bombay, he travels and directs corporate films and TV commercials for big names such as Nike and more. He also has a lot of government projects in his worklist.

Job Opportunities
