FFVA launches its first feature film made by students

During the 2017 convocation ceremony, Mr.TG Keerthi Kumar, Founder & Director of FFVA officially announced that FFVA will produce its first telugu feature film under their banner Film Monks Entertainment, in 2018. A brain child of FFVA directors Aditi & Keerthi Kumar, Film Monks will hereafter venture into feature films in various languages like Telugu, Kannada, Hindi & Tamil.

As announced by Mr.Keerthi, the film production went on floors in December 2017. The movie is completed and ready to see its release in 2018. The film is titled “Pedavi Datani Matokatundhi”, and is directed by FFVA alumni Guru Prasad. Other departments like cinematography, editing, color grading also have FFVA students as chief technicians. Music has been composed by Zenith Reddy, who has been working with FFVA for past few years. While talking about the launch, Mr.Keerthi said “The first look poster of the movie has created a good buzz in tollywood. The students turned technicians have already started getting offers from the industry even before the release”.

“2018 marks 10th successful year of FFVA as a film school and production house. We are going to make more movies and involve our students in the future projects. We believe giving back to the younger generation is the best thing to practice” says Aditi, the Director. “We are entering mainstream cinema with good content. We will combine creativity and commerce in all our films, without losing on the entertainment factor”, she concluded
