Inspiring and empowering methodologies will help you explore yourself and the photographer within you, during this three months course in photography. This course will provide budding photographers an excellent exposure on various techniques by our experienced instructors

A good photographer is the one that communicates a fact, touches the heart and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. At FFVA, we teach photography as an art and not just as a skill

The photography curriculum at FFVA is a perfect combination of training and thinking, treating photography as a creative art.  Starting with the basics and composition, your learning covers street, event, architectural, landscape, studio, product and fashion photography

Duration: 3 months (12 Weekends)
The three months photography course is for anyone who wants a true insight into what it takes to be a photographer and learn the art not just as a hobby, but also at a professional level

Module 1 - Basics of DSLR & composition

The first four weeks covers the basics of DSLR and composition. Students get introduced to elements of photography and rigorous assignments are given and evaluated by the faculty. First module prepares the student for the further classes

Module 2 - Technology & art

Starting with photoshop basics, students will explore different types of photography like street, event, architectural and landscape

Module 3 - Advanced photography & portfolio

The advanced module covers extensive lighting required for product, studio and fashion photography. Students complete their course with a strong portfolio

Bagath has been associated with top-notch filmmakers. After assisting Rajiv Menon for three years, he worked as an assistant cinematographer for Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kadal’. He has worked for TV commercials of well-known brands like Aircel, Toyota, Chevrolet etc. He is the cinematographer of a Tamil feature film “Kaalaan” which is set to release in 2017. His expertise in photography and cinematography makes him one of the sought out artists in the industry

Requisites

Students are required to carry their HDSLR with tripod and laptop. The academy helps the students to hire the equipment, in case of non availability

  • Students will be guided by the faculty to build a strong portfolio at par with the industry standards
